If you have, or had, any items of Oscar de la Renta's, please share.

Amanda offered to compile a blog tribute and the Site Committee will make a homepage feature including VFG members' and guests' items highlighting the work of the designer. A number already have posted items to Jonathan's thread:

    RIP Oscar de la Renta

—so please post to that thread.

Thank you for the suggestion Jody!

I have never been lucky enough to own any of the fancier ODLR gowns but did have these 2 cute pieces over the years...

I just realized the photos I had are on my old computer that bit the dust.

I only have this hat to offer.

    Great!

I want to clarify that the homepage feature will be a visual banner that links to the blog that Amanda will compile. If any one of our experts has the inclination and time to write a feature article on the designer, we would welcome that too!

  16. Terri,
When I first started selling online and had a website instead of the shop on RL, my first thing to sell was a beautiful ODLR dress that reminds me of this lovely one you are listing. I wish I still had a photo of the dress. It was a beautiful material.....gold metallic thread with pinks and lavendars and the neckline and cuffs and waistline were adorned with detail similar to this. Your dress is beautiful and I know it won't last long! Good Luck!
