1920's robe

    I found a bunch of edwardian & 1920s antique clothings together. I think this robe is from the 1920's? Also is it silk?

    pretty! Its a 'redingote' - an open jacket or coat worn over a matching dress and this looks mid-late 20s to me.

    it does look like silk but it doesn't feel smooth as silk.
