Pretty enough to eat! This 60s dress is in excellent condition and went on auction tonight. I am calling the color peach. Does anyone have a more exciting color name? <center><img src="http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b6/vintageclothesline/peachsouthernbellecollage2.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"><br><br><img src="http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b6/vintageclothesline/peachsouthernbelle5.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"><br><br> <img src="http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b6/vintageclothesline/peachsouthernbelle6.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"><br><br> <img src="http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b6/vintageclothesline/peachsouthernbelle7.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com"><br><br> The chiffon drape collar or shawl (what do you call it?) is detachable. That's amazing finding that fashion photo of the gal in a similar skirted dress! I would call that a detachable capelet? I hope you see lots of green with this one!
linda that will go down a storm i'm sure!! i'd go with chris on capelet, and as far as colour goes i'm not sure what else i'd say... i tend to use three words whenever just one is called for so probably 'palest peachy pink' to get pink in there? peach is good i'm sure!
