Can I sell these vintage Mannequin\'s?

    Warning lots of pics!

Will they sell damaged? They are from the old store I told them that I would try and sell them to help with her bills but I am not sure if it is going to be worth my time with the packaging and all, do you think the ones with arms would bring 100.00???

They are really not that bad, some missing paint and minor chips...the faces have hand painted make up and such..I am sure they could be redone. I like the way these can turn at the waist...but I have no idea if they are going to be worth the trouble or not.

    So what do you think?

  2. Susan, they will sell but you won't get top dollar as they are missing arms and hands. If they had arms and hands and you dressed them up in a pretty dress they might bring upwards of $150.00 to $200.00 a piece.

Why don't you keep one? I love my vintage manni's much more than my modern one.

Hey, do you have an extra stand and pole in that batch? I am looking for one, plus I am looking for a smaller rod for the ankle or calf....
    Let me know, ok

I did keep one for myself..I will be "introducing" her to you all later!

There are a couple more that are pretty messed up, I will ask him if I can have a rod and stand..I will wait to see if these sell first..then when I take him the mone ask him...LOL..

COSMIC ....sorry no left hands found for you!

I do have a couple half mannequins that I am going to list.

  4. I think they'll easily sell - the magic question, of course, is for how much. :)

I was searching a while back for replacement arms and noticed that even manni "parts" seem to do well.

One option is to do some research and find out if parting them out might bring a higher dollar amount.

I'm also ISO a leg rod (calf/ankle placement type) and stand.

  5. Susan, do you still have my number?

I need a long rod/pole and stand and a calf/ankle rod, I can use the same stand for either rod.

I'm desperate as I can't use Bambi until I get one. Poor thing is just leaning against the dining room china hutch.

They are early 50s, which is nice, but too bad they aren't complete. There must be someone somewhere that makes replacment arms for old mannequins...

Tori...I dont know what I did with your number...you have mine....I dont think any of them had calf or ankle rods...

Well I dont want to take them apart to sell them, just because I already took the photos and left the manni's over at the store where I took the pics...that means I would have to go back and do it all again....ummm...I never measured the height hope no one asks!
