    Hi all,

I have a couple of items I am trying to clean and I need advice.

The first one, I think I ruined :( I soaked it in OxiClean since it was yellowing and while the white came out beautifully, all the metal decoration rusted and leaked. Anything I can do to save this piece?

The second one is also yellowing all over and has some spots. I could soak it but I am concerned since it looks so delicate and I really don't want to ruin it like the first one.

Any thoughts/ advice on how to handle these?

    Thank you,
    Victoria

The 2nd one... I think I'd try spot cleaning it with something like Restoration and then giving a distilled water soak to maybe just get the 'age' out of it? You're right to be careful with it but I think it could be cleaned slow and steady.

Thank you Cinthia. I ordered Restoration just now and hope it will be gentle enough for the second one. Any thoughts on how to remove rust?
