Dating cropped satin top

    Any ideas on this top as far as a date and how to describe this fabric? Thanks in advance

    That's sweet! I think it was meant to be worn over a dress of matching fabric. My guess is early 60s.

    I would call it satin brocade, but I'll let the more knowledgeable folks weigh in on that.

    Definitely meant to wear over the same fabric sheath styled dress. I see it as well as either a silk or satin brocade.
