Dating silk pajamas

    Wide legs and the pants' opening is pretty weird.
    I assume it is pretty old?

    there was a LOT of that embroidery (and loose fitting, flowy garments ) all over the island of Bali in 1990-92.

    but, maybe they were inspired by earlier pieces. that embroidery, though, looks nearly exactly like some that was on a jumpsuit that i had from there.

  4. It would help if the photos were the right way up - I think you can edit your post to turn them now - and also help to see the shape, preferably when worn but I agree with Mary. They don't look that old and the techniques are still being used. I've seen similar work on '70-80s garments made for the tourist market in Asia.
