Hmmm. I will not say what I really think. I will say that I am not at all impressed, and would not watch this show.

The worst thing is that they don't EVER show the vintage garments and accessories!! I know these guys and their customers and employees want to be the stars, but isn't the show supposed to be about the clothing too? Let the viewers SEE the garments for heaven's sake. That 1930's silver gown...we didn't even get to see the details, the camera spun over it speedily, and frankly I don't even think it was from the 1930's. We did see it plopped by the dealer into a shopping bag like it was a bag of potatoes. Yikes. I cringed.

And they don't tell us anything about the clothing, or pricing, or history. Seriously, they might as well be making house calls and shopping for vintage pottery, for all we get to see or learn.

I live in LA and know the shop, and most of the people who work there are snobs, with annoying manners. Sorry, its true. But then again, it is LA! :USING:

And personally I hate the term "fashion porn". Who is their demographic for this so called "vintage fashion" show? Not me.

Thanks for the link to the show, I always want to now what is on the air.

I much prefer Doris Raymond and L.A. Frock Stars... now THAT lady has style, class, manners, and we get to really see the garments. She knows that is what the viewers tune in for.

I didn't think that dress looked 30s either but when it got plopped into that bag...wow, I was really taken aback.
