Help Identifying Sweater

    Any help dating this sweater would be much appreciated. Also, does anyone know what the pattern of the knit would be called?

    Also, what type of neckline?

    It's a variation of the Diamond Stitch. Looks early 80s.

    I see 1970s with the high ribbed waist and the puffed sleeve shoulder line. Don't really know how to describe that pattern exactly...maybe diamond shaped cable?
