Help..what is the style of this 50\'s dress?

I am having a brain block tonight I have a couple dresses to list and am absolutely stuck! What style would you call this...and is there a name for that rolled collar treatment?

Also the first thing I thought about the fabric design was "houndstooth"....it is sort of like a damask..any ideas?

Yes that's houndstooth and what a beautiful champagne color! Looking up you collar treatment.... hmmmm. After reading it seems it would be just called a rolled collar or perhaps a turnover collar (any collar whick rolls and then turns over).

    It's beautiful!

That silhouette reminds me of the New Look. Early 50's? Lovely dress Queenie!

I'm thinking early to mid-50s too. At first glance I was thinking
princess styling, however I don't think I actually see the seaming running down from the bodice to the skirt and the skirt is not gored is it?

    Susan it is lovely regardless!
