    Hello,

I have a vintage jacket labelled 'Lilly Ann MODELL".
I've tried searching for information about it but nothing came up and I can not find any information linking my label to the well known Lilli Ann label.
The jacket is obviously vintage, very well made and in my experiance I would date it in the 1950s.

I would love any thoughts or information you have that could help me.

    Thank you!

Looks like a pretty fabric. The labels are unrelated. The Lilli Ann label is always spelled with two i's. A lot of successful lines were piggybacked in this way.

Since it's spelled "Modell" with two L's, it looks like this was a German (or possibly Austrian or Swiss) brand. They often used that expression to make something sound a bit more posh. Assuming this jacket was made in Germany/Europe, it's well possible the actual Lilli Ann company in the US weren't even aware of this.
