type of fur?

    I am trying to find out what type of fur this is?

    looks like pony to me....which apparently is really cow? But called pony. :)

    I dont think it is pony, ive seen pony used for shoes and boots and it is more of a coarser fur, this is pretty soft & glossy

    It looks to have very shiny guard hairs. Hard to tell without having it in hand, but could be something like mink. I don't think it is fluffy enough for beaver. It does look like an animal that gets in the water.

    I agree it's mink - I believe it's ranch mink. Gorgeous.

    Hi all -- Why can't I see any photos? I'm new to this forum. Am I missing something or do the photos disappear after a certain amount of time? Thanks.

    Welcome to the Forums. If the photos were removed by the person who posted them they are no longer available to see. Some people keep their photos up "forever" and some who have limited hosting space take them down.

    You can post one image at a time from your computer but most people use image hosting services.
