Hi Guallan; If you check our Label Resource we do have some labels from Lilli Diamond, although not much, and admittedly, none of us have found out much about her yet either, although we have found that she was based in Los Angeles. http://www.vintagefashionguild.org/labels_f.html
Thank you. Happy to be online with you. Thamesa actually stands for Thames-a. I'm English living in NYC. Looking forward to participating in the VFG once I get set up to go.
Hi, have finally succeeded in logging in and what an amazing array of things to talk and learn about! I am just an amateur interested in learning about vintage hats and handbags - my two great passions and look forward to spending time browsing through the various forums. As a starter, I was wondering if anyone could give me any info concerning Takase buttons, ie what are they made from and cost/value? Also, any clues as to identifying Whitby jet as opposed to 'foreign' imports and, finally (for the moment anyway!) what is the consensus of opinion about vintage fur coats? In hopeful anticipation, Glenda
