Or an auto duster? It's white cotton, patchpockets, double breasted, and has a self button belt. It's cut very straight. The belt hits loosely at the natural waist. And it's a good size. It seem sto be teens or early 1920s.

    But what is it?

would it be too light weight to be an auto duster?

Does look like some type of laboratory coat.

Hollis, this makes me think of what might have been worn by a nurse/doc/lab tech at a TB sanitorium....or another clinic
like that that seemed so common during the early 1900s

It's little light for an automobile duster, although it would certainly work that way.

I am wondering how to market this and where - any thoughts?
