Have you ever seen a bonnet like this?

    Have you ever seen a bonnet with a corn husk brim? I love it! Any guesses on age? I was estimating 1930s or 40.

    I have seen these, but only in photos. I think they were worn for special occasions such as a parade or festival events and home made. This one does not look any older than 1960s to me, not sure as it could be even newer than that.

    I was thinking more Holly Hobbie 1970s era - When hippies created communes and went with the granny dress and bonnet look -- a lot of these kinds of things were made around the Bicentennial too.
