Hello newbie here and still learning a lot about Vintage in particular dating items ... I am of the understanding if something reads made in China then it is probably not vintage, but not always the case. Please can you help me with dating this lovely silk blouse?
    Thank you x

Patra specialise in silk and have been around since 1964 - they are based in London (I think it says London on your label too). The logo on your label is certainly different to the current one. So based on that it's certainly possible it's vintage.

In terms of the style of this blouse I'm not sure - perhaps I'm seeing 80s? Does it have shoulder pads - it looks like it might?

but basically I'm hoping someone else will weigh in.

    Hey,

Thanks so much for your reply.
Yes it does look different to the other labels that I have seen ,label looks older to me which Is what got me thinking ... it does have shoulder pads yes so could well be 70s-80s maybe?

Have since looked on ebay and found matching labels.

If it has shoulder pads I'm more confident with my assessment of 1980s. The colour scheme strikes me as 80s, and the general shape.

    I *think* that this is 80s... mid-late.
