help with dating and dewrinkling a unlabeled reversible lined knit jacket 1920s 1930s?

Hi! I found this jacket sometime last year and tried figuring out the type of jacket, decade etc, fabric. just can't figure out really any of this except that I know it is not 1940s (based on style) and not 1910s (I think . . .). Someone said she was 1960s but I really don't think so, but am not sure. . .

I can't cut into her, at least not the red side because there are no seam allowances or frays to cut. However I will probably test the orange side w/ a couple snippets.

Any one know what decade or year she might be from, kind of jacket and possible fabric content. I think the knit is patterned, is there a name for it?

True color best pictured in 5th and 6th photos. I think I will probably put her up on ebay, am not attached to her but

With that angled side dart placement,the boxy cut and 3/4 length sleeves, plus the type of lining, it's 1960s, less likey very early 70s.

 

Ah, so they were right. She runs color like crazy on the lined side, would steaming likely cause another run? I don't know if I'll with her - keep or sell.

 

If you have an up-t0-date easy to control dryer, I have had good luck de-wrinkling things by wetting a towel, then wringing it out as dry as you can, put in dryer and start. You want the towel to feel damp, not wet. Then put in items. Let the dryer tumble for a short time. Check every 3-5 minutes or so. Remove and hang the item when it is warm and feels slightly damp. Good luck.
