Dress dating help please

    My mum bought this dress about 26 years ago at vintage store and its been hanging out in her wardrobe every since! Could anyone help with dating? Is it 20/30s? Somewhere in that era?

    What a pretty dress! I'm seeing late 20s/early 30s, but there are others here who are more familiar with clothing from this era.

    Are there any closures?

    I see 1930s, perhaps the middle of the decade. Also wondering about the closures.

    I see 30s as well, hope it has been hanging on a padded hanger, as it is so delicate.

    I would say summer 1930 or spring 1931 -- that particular look, halfway between the two eras lasts two seasons:
