Is this a stylized flower or plant?

    Hard question - quick answer - no, I wouldn't say so. Elements of stylized flowers, for sure. I see thistles and certainly leaves around the border - and flowers... I kind of get Moroccan vibes.

    My first thought was a Hungarian pattern. It reminds me also of thistle which is a recurring pattern in Hungarian designs. Also, the color are pretty much the colors of the Hungarian flag.

    No expert here, but it does look like it could be part of a folk costume... Eastern Europe could be a possibility.

    Well I see plenty of tulips! It doesn't say hungarian to me.

    I keep looking at this print and keep thinking of the Caribbean islands. I wonder if it may be from Barbados or Jamaica.
