Brava to Laura @Metro Retro Vintage for a truly wonderful VFG newsletter! It's a must read, if you haven't already: https://vintagefashionguild.wildapricot.org/resources/Documents/VFGNewsSpring2019.pdf
I just read it earlier today. The clothing, the exhibits, the information shared about identifying jewelry, talk about our VFG FB shop, and what our members have done and have going on was really fabulous! I enjoyed reading it and it made me want to write too!
I didn’t thank our publisher Laura either. I was so overwhelmed by how great it was but thanks a billion Laura!
I like the adjective the Brits use - "gobsmacked." That newsletter is SO professionally done - what talent we have among our members. The articles were excellent and informative and Laura gathered so much other information and laid it out it beautifully - and those links all worked! Must have taken her forever to do this. I want to go on that fashion tour in UK and I'm going to take a second look at my jewelry marks now. Nice work and sincere thanks to everyone involved in producing a newsletter I am proud to promote! If you have a blog, please mention it.
What a nice thread -- thank you so much Maggie, and thank you so much ladies! A newsletter is only as good as its contents, and our members provide GREAT content! I would like to to our many excellent writers, photographers and contributors, and all who make our publication possible. With a special thank you to Amanda for her eagle-eye attention to detail.
Such a great newsletter and I'm happy to hear about so many great things in members' lives. Caryn, special thanks for the uplifting letter.
Wow! Truly wonderful, what a great deal of work and fantastic result. Thoroughly enjoying reading it, so much useful and gorgeous information displayed in an incredibly palatable way. Thank you vfg members!
