VFG Shop on Facebook: Rules for Buyers

1. VFG Shop is a Group for BUYING from approved VFG Trade Members.
Only Vintage Fashion Guild Trade Members (dues paying & pre-approved) may sell here. See FAQs and VFG Code of Practice for more information.


2 First to comment “Interested” is first in line.
Asking a question doesn't put you in line. You must comment "interested." No other word will work. Please do not message the seller instead of commenting “Interested”. If the seller doesn't hear from you within 24 hours of responding to your "interested" comment, s/he will move on to the next in line.


3 Timely Communication is Key
Seller should message buyer within 24 hours of buyer’s “Interested” comment to arrange payment and shipping. Seller expects to hear back from buyer within the next 24 hours.


4. Payment is Expected Within 24 Hours
Payment method is agreed upon between seller and buyer - most sellers accept Paypal. Buyers who commit to purchase must pay within 24 hours after receipt of instructions from seller unless the seller agrees otherwise. If time expires, the seller may move on to next buyer in line.


5. Customs Fees Are Between Buyers and Their Own Country
International buyers are responsible for any import and customs charges imposed by their country of residence.


6. Be civilized.
VFG Shop on Facebook is intended to be a safe and pleasant space. Profanity is not allowed and inappropriate comments will be deleted. Repeat offenders may be banned.
