Great... I'll have to play around with the totes - my friend would like to have a "nice" one for work - so nothing promoting a brand or with a funny quote.

A couple of new things are in our Zazzle shop!

Please remember to use our referral address to make any purchase on Zazzle, as this earns the VFG a little extra.

We also earn royalties on our shop items.

All cards in our shop are 50% off right now with code XMASEARLYBRD and everything else seems to be 15% off with the same code.

This postcard's image is excerpted from a fashion plate published in Très Parisien (1923).

This tissue paper comes in sheets. I ordered it and it came out beautifully! The woman's image is derived from "M. Bergson a promis de venir: Robe de dîner de Worth" (1914) print in high resolution by Bernard Boutet de Monvel, published in Gazette de Bon Ton. The shoes and bag had to go with her!

As anyone who has ever seen Zazzle knows, sales happen all the time. Just through today you can get 50% off cards (20% off other items). This is pretty close to the best deal of the year last year, which was 60% off. The discount code is SEASONCARD50

Please remember to use our referral address to make any purchase (from any shop) on Zazzle, as this earns the VFG a little extra.

New in the shop are a couple of lined blank books for those of us who scribble constantly, and a hat gift tag.

This is a cover illustration of French couture fashion dating from 1931, showing pieces by Dupouy-Magnin, Jane Régny, Bernard & Cie and Mirande. This appeared in the magazine Art - Goût - Beauté, Feuillets de l' élégance féminine (anonymous artist).

Illustration by Arthur Ferrier called ‘The Loot Of The Rainbow’ which appeared in Tatler magazine, 1928.

There are some new items in our Zazzle shop, and right now all cards are 50% off with the code HOLIDAYFAVEZ

The MO of Zazzle is that the shipping is expensive, but paying $9.95/year for Zazzle Black (I don't think there is such a thing for non-US people, but I'm not certain) is worth it even for one or two orders. Also, there are sales quite often, although this is the time of year for the best deals. 50% off cards put our shop's postcards at around $1, and our folded cards at about $1.80.

A number of the folded cards include info about the VFG on the back. So with a purchase you earn royalty and referral income for the VFG and help spread the word!

I've just added these items to the shop. This gift wrap roll features a Beurer shoe ad from 1940.

This is a sticker which uses a Georges Leonnec illustration published as a cover of La vie Parisienne in 1934.

Remember writing? This postcard features the photo "Sun Rays—Paula, Berlin" (1889) by Alfred Stieglitz.

This photo is by William M. Van der Weyde (1870-1929), taken at Atlantic City Beach c.1900. I've loved it ever since I saw it, and it is in the public domain, so...

:hiya: I am probably the only VFG member who broke her leg scurrying down an icy path to get into a church rummage sale. And then continued to shop with the pain and the help of a walker they had for sale there. Dedicated hunter. My friend finally insisted I go to the hospital and I had to buy the walker! rude emoti

I know that's not funny, Amanda, but it is SO FUNNY! I know I would do the very same thing.

...And you used their on-sale walker to continue shopping.
