    oops. I see the date is in the title - 1929. But would still love to know about how this fits in overall. It's such a bold look! Was this the first appearance of the diving girl?

    The company was started in 1910, and started making swimsuits several years later. The Diving Girl was introduced in 1920. There is some really interesting details on my blog.

    Never saw the diving girl that large. The suit is fantastic and it looks like it's in great shape. What a great find!
