Hi, All! Love these vintage Chippewa Ski Boots that I found. They are in truly wonderful condition! It took the Chippewa Company a bit of research, but they eventually dated them to the mid-1930s, but perhaps as late as the mid-1940s. They feature a dark cherry red leather, leather lined interior, double welt stitching, and a "bowling shoe" design.
Nice! They have a great look with all that lacing detail. I presume they have been later resoled and heeled to turn them into normal walking boots, as those don't appear original. They remind me of a pair of 1940s walking boots I had:
