1970s black dress or older?

Hello !

I found this dress today and had some troubles dating it. I think it might be from the 1970s but the dress as an object (the way it is done) seems to be older. The zip is metal and on the side of the dress, there is no label and the seams are not serged, although I learned thanks to you that serged seams existed for a long time.

I do not have the dress with me so unfortunately the only pictures I have are from when I was trying it in the shop, sorry.

Yes, early 1950's. The sleeves are raglan sleeves.
