    40\'s rayon blouse detail - what\'s this called?

    This back detail -

    I should know this and it's possible I DO know it, but I'm suffering from 'brain freeze'.

    This is a set-in half belt.

    Being the offspring of a seamstress comes in handy when the brain cells decide to kick in. ;)

    yep - or a back inset waistband. But half belt may work best.

    That is a really lovely blouse, Carolyn! I love how they used the design of the fabric to make the flowers look like they are drooping down from a tree or something.
