Hi again, going through my holiday break treasures. This dress had to be 80s I think, right? it has no tags and the lining feels like a raw silk, very sheer and light. I was surprised it didn't have shoulder pads (maybe someone snipped them out) Of course I've seen tons of these beaded dresses, but thought this one was pretty unusual any ideas of maker (longshot I know) by anyone?
These beaded dresses were usually made in India at the time (Halston had his made there), but they are most often unlabelled, or if they are labelled you get an importer's/retailer's tag.
I do agree with 80s but this one does seem more special than the usual...but it may well have only had a Made in India label.
