Sad indeed. The Alaia exhibition was the first one I saw at the reopened Palais Galliera, and it was great.
Very sad. I still kick myself for not buying two Alaia outfits at a local thrift about 10 years ago. I had never heard of Alaia and didn't at that time have a smart phone to check up on the name. The store wanted $24.99 each which was waaaay more than the usual $4.99 I'd spend on a thrifted dress.
