Thank you, Claire. What a well written and thorough news piece. I had heard of Lowe but only from a book title, a book I have never read but wanted to. I am speechless at her talent and astounded by her courage.
They have several dresses at MCNY which I examined when working on the MOD NY. Also, they have some dolls--I think are Ann Lowe. I'll try to get photos of them.
I sold this Ann Lowe wedding dress a few years ago. It was so well made. Of course of all the pieces I've sold, this is the one label that I neglected to take a photo of!
