Any one know anything about Bernard Freres?

'Bernard Freres , Paris and london' to be exact. Sounds a bit like a made up company name (Bernard Brothers in English isn't it?), and have seen it in 60s and 70s stuff.

Nearly bought myself a dress with the label in today but it was a bit pricey. Just wondered if anyone had come across it? It may well still be in existence - there was a closed listing in (modern) eveningwear on ebay UK for a suit that sounded as if it had been bought quite recently.
