Any thoughts on the age of this bag?

I picked up this cool leather bag and I am clueless about dating it. It has quite a bit of patina to the metal bits. Of course any googling will bring up Hudson's Bay company instead of the The Hudson bay company NYC. It has a registered trademark which I am also having a hard time finding any info about. the leather is quite rigid, no lining.

Really a nice one! I have one very very similar, packed away. I always thought mine was very early 1970s, maybe 1969-71.

 

Late 60s early 70s hippie influence.
