Do you still have the care label that you accidentally removed? We cannot authenticate here and as I personally have not had a Valentino scarf with the particular label, I cannot say for sure. Perhaps someone else here has and will come along to help you out. I have found others online with polka dots but they are not like yours. The fact that the edge is hand rolled is a good sign.

That looks like a TK Maxx label, so i'd say it's very modern/contemporary as opposed to vintage... certainly in the last ten years.
Have the labels changed much? From the Valentino scarfs I seen, most have the same writing with similar tags. Yes, that label is from Tk Maxx.
