I had purchased 3 chanel scarfs at a local shop. I would like to know if these are real. Thanks in advance.
Can you please upload the photos directly to our forums. Your photo bucket link is not working. here is a link to the instructions for you. http://forums.vintagefashionguild.org/threads/faq-how-to-post-a-photo.42320/
welcome to our forums, Michelle ~ you might want to quickly read through our Welcome Thread. In it, you will see guideline #5: 5 - Trade Members of the VFG are unable to authenticate designer labels on the forums. For authentication we recommend contacting the design house directly. Personally, I have seen and handled faux Chanel scarves (and handbags) that were brought in to Hawaii from Korea and Hong Kong by flight attendants in the 1990s: they were amazing quality, the labels were even fake, of course, and perfectly done. If you want to be absolutely sure, you should check with a Chanel boutique.
I can't tell you whether they are authentic, but I can tell you what to look for in fakes. Is the printing perfectly aligned? Are their any mispelled words? Is the hem handsewn?
@ Claireshaeffer. The printin is perfectly aligned, there is no misspelled words and the hem is handsewn.
