The name's Gabe, Gabe Cartwright. I have been collecting for approx 5 years now. I mainly collect mens clothing from the 60's 70's era. I do not resell these clothes, I wear them! I love the long collars and pearlized buttons and goofy patterns they came up with! In my collection, Ive got about 5 or so brady bunch style suits, 1 suit which is from the early 50s, about 50 or so old shirts, 5 pairs of polyester pants, and plenty more... I also am a collector of mens hats, 78rpm records, and old radios, although these do not pertain to clothing;).
I am a very small time collecter who doesn't buy off eBay or anything like that, I get them at Goodwill. That way I just happen upon stuff and get a surprise every time!
I also like clothes from the 30s 40s 50s, but i find that these are very hard to find at goodwill.
Most of all, I love the 20's. Sadly i do not own an article of clothing from this decade. (Unless you count my sock garters and spats) it is out of my price range but I would KILL to get a 1920's mens suit that fit me.

I know I have been talking quite a bit but trust me, I could go on and on all day.

Wish me luck

Hello vintage enthusiasts! My name is Tara and I am a member of the Art Deco Society of California. I collect great 1920s, 1930s, and 1960s vintage. I also design and co-create historical costumes. I look forward to getting to know you, and to share expertise with this community. I joined today because I need help dating a vintage qipao - not my area of expertise. Thanks!

Hi I'm Deirdre, I've been lurking on VFG for a few years now - it's THE go-to place for info - I really appreciate the work that must go into creating/maintaining it. So I thought I'd finally say hi!

I collect & sell vintage clothing - mostly 60s 70s & 80s - but I'm an eclectic at heart so I pick from any era as long as it's got something special. I go through phases of obsession with this or that era, somehow I always fall back on 40s & 70s in my personal style. It must've been all the old movies I watched as a girl in the 70s. I was obsessed with Fred Astaire, Lauren Bacall & Bette Davis. Like most of us, I was born in the wrong era :D

I sell on online and I hope to get into doing fleas soon so I can spend more time off the computer! I've come to the realization that vintage lovers are usually creative people who I can relate to without much effort. It's like we're all from the same tribe.

Hi Thomas ! hahaha Well this requires a little explanation. We have the same first and last name, Falater, and we're both into fashion. So had to join using my middle name William too. Isn't this something? Hiya Tom ! LOL I'm an old timer, I'm 40 and live on the opposite side of the country from Thomas, I'm in Taos, New Mexico and grew up in Canada. Big fashion scene here but I would love to be in NY. Thomas WILLIAM Falater checking in! LOL

Hello, all! Glad to have you here! :hiya::hiya::hiya:
