    \'Artificial Silk\' Suit - 40\'s? or Cusper?

I haven't done a burn test on this yet, but I'm pretty sure it is rayon (or as they so quaintly called it "artificial silk').

The jacket has small flat shoulderpads, self-covered button
closure, pinked seams, fitted with short peplum with scalloped hemline. The skirt is long and rather a-shape (not
straight pencil as you see in the 50s).

I'm guessing late 40s, but would love to have this confirmed.

Thanks Pauline! The last suit I had that I thought was 40s was actually
early 50s, however the skirt on it had a much straighter silhouette.
