I listed one of those fabulous Disney Lady & the Tramp circle skirts recently on the website - I remember Ang had the companion Si & Am version a couple years ago. This quilted circle skirt is great for fall, it has scattered prongset rhinestones and tiny black pompoms.
Hi just wanted to note that the first skirt isn't egyptian. I have been collecting these skirts for years now. They are actually hand painted or screen printed mexican skirts. Carmona is one of the best artists to do these skirts. Great skirt though and rare color! Very Nice!!!
I have a Mexican hand-painted circle skirt on my website (here): and a tweedy navy wool skirt up on eBay (here): and a wrap skirt with a surreal print, also on eBay (here). If this looks like a real piece of known art, please do tell!
You're welcome. The best things come from places you never expect! I have a Carmona skirt too it has loads of sequins all over, I might sell it but it's hard for me to part with my personal clothes I actually wear... I need to learn to let go haha. But yeah, glad to be of help! :saint:
Love the crazy quilt-style skirt. Was wondering if it had a label or you might have more information about it? Curious for research purposes. Thanks!
