Is anyone good with vintage denim? We've ascertained that Bluebell was Wrangler before they bought the Wrangler name in the 40s, but otherwise are not really sure what we have here. I took this photo from my husband's FB page, so I don't have the item in front of me, but I can get him to take more detailed photos when he goes into the shop if necessary.

I could be wrong, but I recall having a pair of BlueBell carpenter jeans (or painter's pants as we called them) back in the early 70s. With the same red stitching too. Wish I still had them.

Are there any tags on the inside? And could you post a full length pic? I could see 70s clamdiggers, but I could also see 50s clamdiggers or high-waist jeans. The rockabilly girls go nuts for those.
