Can Anyone Give Me Any Info On Designer Vonnie Reynolds?

I recently purchased a gorgeous three piece suit by Vonnie Reynolds Bunratty Cottage of Ireland. I have googled to no avail. I have found out that she is deceased but not a whole lot more. One of the pieces of this outfit is a cape that took me over an hour to figure out how it was worn. It is in like new condition. Can anyone tell me the decade? I'm thinking 70s. I do want to sell this garment. I'm new here but I understand you can't talk about value...that's okay...I would just like to know something about this designer. Thanks so much for any help you can give me. 001.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG 005.JPG 006.JPG 011.JPG 008.JPG

Here are some links that may be helpful (copy and paste them into your URL bar):

and a 1983 article about Irish fashions noted: "One non-specialist is Vonnie Reynolds, who teams with her daughter, Marielouise, to create a full collection, from separates to ball gowns. She uses not only the famed tweeds, linens, knits, and lace of Ireland, but silks and organizes made especially in Switzerland for her. An artist by training, Mrs. Reynolds has developed some unique ways of styling her fabrics. A group of separates in the red, black, and white Bunratty plaid features her one-arm wrap, which fastens on one shoulder like a cape, but has a sleeve on the other side. It tops her softly fitted long jacked and full skirt." [PLEASE NOTE: This is quoted here for educational purposes only and should not be used in any sales venue].

Another article tells us that Vonnie Reynolds' first name was actually Veronica, and a 1979 article stated she was "...a poor girl who scarcely had bus fare, (who) took to fashion when her husband's club was giving a party and needed a show. Vonnie enlisted friends to help her, and her 30 costumes that came out of their effort were so successful that she decided to go into business." [PLEASE NOTE the same caveat as about the quote above. Thanks]

Delighted to see this post, as I own a beautiful Vonnie Reynolds tweed suit, 2 piece, double breasted jacket, velvet trim on jacket and skirt. Only worn twice, vintage 1980's, bought at her lovely shop which was in Bunratty. I am interested in selling it on to someone who would appreciate its style and elegance. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Thank you.

My Family was very good friends with the Reynolds family. We stayed with them whenever we were in Ireland. My Dad was a photographer and did portraits of all 3 of their daughters. I believe they moved to the USA after her husband died and she passed away in 2012. Her shop at Bunratty was beautiful and filled with gorgeous clothing and gifts. Every Christmas she would send us something from her shop, Waterford, Aynsley China, Limoges... They were a lovely family.
