Got this coat from my grandmother. I beleive that it is real fur because it weights a lot and I can see that it is quality. When I burned a few hairs, it smelled like real burnt hear. The sleeves are a bit short. The coat unfortunatly has no label ( anymore). If someone could help me identify the type of fur, and eventually give me a price chek, I would apprieciate it. Thanks in avance!
Looks like classic mink to me! You can wait and see what some of the other members say, too. The sleeves were meant to be short so your pretty long gloves and bracelet shows! Please don't burn any more of it! Value depends a lot on style and condition of the pelts. If it fur sheds out of the pelts, the skins may have dried out and this renders it valueless for sale, essentially, although you can still wear it yourself until it rips. If it was stored properly (not in plastic and in a consistently cool place), it could be in great shape and someone will love to have it. It's a cute style! (Nice buttons, too)
