I wish I could help out but I cannot tell what sort of fur this is. Could you post it on a person or perhaps hang it up on a hanger.
It does not look Victorian to me.

I cannot read the 2nd name on the label - I can read the Debenham, what is the rest. The label can often be of great help to determine the
    age of the piece.

Can’t speak to the fur at all but you can see the entire history of the evolution of the store here
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debenhams
The label reads Debenham & Freebody so it appears that your coat label is from the era when Debenham was partnering with his brother in law Clement Freebody which was between 1851 and 1876.
That said, this coat didn’t strike me as being that old at all but maybe if you could post some clearer photos we can get a better idea

    Hi,

Your coat looks more modern to me, maybe 1940s -1960s. Hard to tell without seeing it on a person. The fur looks to be a fur made to resemble seal, but not actual seal fur. Such as "Hudson Seal" fur which was not seal at all but dyed to look as if it were. Could be rabbit or nutria, or other fur.

It is not Victorian. Widows and family members of the deceased would wear black, but not forever (there were of course a few exceptions such as Queen Victoria herself). Fur coats were not generally worn during mourning as it was considered lavish or showy. Again, there were exceptions of course if you lived in a very cold climate, or were very rich, etc.

It looks to be a nice coat.

I learn a lot here thank you - least i know its not a funeral coat of a Victorian - didn't want a curse
or BABY SEALS - i have seen on google hudson seal coats and i agree, they look like this so much,
and its so soft - i just like collecting old fur coats for no reason i love fur but only cause i love animals
seems a shame for these old fur coats to go to waste
