Hello, I am new to this group and very happy to be here If anyone has cowgirl/cowboy boots in brown gator or croc in size 5/6 US-please let me know. This is one of those needle in a haystack searches....can't afford the thousands in the stores and have it in my head that I need them-along with a great xs shearling coat. Actually, I am headed to Colorado to visit my brother and will no doubt look like an urban cowgirl ;) Thanks!
Gretchen, good to have you here! I will check my stock and see what I have. Haven't even started listing boots yet. Probably need to get busy.
No crocodile boots I'm afraid but I do have a cute 70's/early 80's suede western jacket. It still has its original tags on it. <img src=http://www.cosmiccatvintage.com/web-data/Components/dresses/D810046F.jpg> You can get more info on my site here: http://www.cosmiccatvintage.com/D810046.html Good luck with your boot search! Connie
I have a pair of snake skin boots somewhere. I am not sure what size but I will hunt the down and post a pic and size for you. If I remember correctly they are brand new. Connie, that's an adorable jacket!!! ~Maureen PS - Don't look now but your manni's who-who is showing :D
Yea, I didn't have a skirt to put on the poor gal at the time. Oh well, she's headless so no one will recognize her on the street! :P Connie
Ok, I found the boots. Not croc. Not gator. Not snake. They are eel skin. They are brand new. They don't even look like they were ever tried on. They are from The House of Reptile - Genuine Eel Skin - Made by Phil. Nice quality but way too small for my big footies! There is no size on them but here are the measurements: 9.5" from tip of toe to heel 3" width at ball of foot 2.75" heel 14" high, about calf length 12" in circ. at widest part of shaft Here are the photos: Cheers ~ Maureen
Just for the people out there that may have something for you, Gretchen, are you only wanting real gator/croc, or are you open to moc croc or faux gator....not simu leather, but the real leather with the croc embossing on it? I have seen some that are very convincing. The only one that isn't so much is faux snake but the only way you could tell is if you ran your hand on it against the grain.
