    I've been on a shoe binge lately.:D

    These are by Evins. I've read lots about David Evins; about how he was the designer to the stars and all. But I thought his things were super boring. I guess he was out of good ideas by the 80s, which is all I'd ever seen.

    These have changed my mind about him:

  3. Super snazzy! Though what looks like handwritten sizing info. on the interior is typical for 40s, they look 70s to me, based upon the relative chunkiness of the heel, the 'kinda' thick ankle strap, and the placement of the throat back, away from the tips of the toes. I could definitely be wrong, though, and Jonathan--yoo hoo--will know. :)

    I agree with Steph, they are early - mid 70s
