Dating 2 piece square dance outfit

    I found this darling set recently, and am trying to date it.

    Label is Partners Please by Malco Modes. Nylon zip (YKK) in top, elasticized waist in skirt.

    From what I could find, Malco Modes focused on making square dance gear in the 60s and are still making petticoats etc to this day under a different name.

    My gut says this set is 80s, but I would love to hear any thoughts!

    These are hard to date because the same styles were made for decades. The label, fabric content and nylon zipper may date this in the 1970's. Let's see what others say.

    Looking at the RN # I would say it's more mid 1980s.
