Dating a Persian lamb coat

    I wanted to confirm this coat is Persian lamb and would also like help dating this coat. I was also wondering what type of fur the collar is made from. Does anyone have any information about this label Danforth Furriers? Thanks.

    Collar looks to be mink. I'd date the coat to 1950s.
