Dating border print corduroy skirt

    I found this charming skirt the other day and am hoping you all can help me to date it.

    It's a printed cotton corduroy, looks to be possibly homemade from the seams (no labels/tags), and has a metal Talon zip in the back. My gut is telling me 50's, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    Pay no attention to the nosy dog in the first photo :) Thanks!

    It's nice. Does look handmade. The kind of thing I would have attempted in the 60's, but I have no strong sense of the era.
