Hi all, I found this fantastic jacket (in the children's section!) the other day and am hoping to find out more about it!

It has a great silhouette, a couple of fun labels and a big metal zipper. I'd love help with dating (60's? Or 70's?) and am also curious if this is actual rain gear and whether it might have had matching pants (in my dreams it did, and I scoured the pants racks to no avail lol!) or a skirt?

    Thanks for any help!

I think 60s and probably did have a matching mini skirt!

In the early 70s I had a suede jacket cut almost exactly like this. Just a comment, as I am not sure if yours is late 60s or early 70s. Whichever, it is fabulous!

The silhouette, for some reason, says '60s to me.

I am leaning towards 1970/71 because of the defined waist and large collar, I would expect no waist and a round, standing, or small collar for the 60s, but then again, there is stuff from 69 that is already doing that.

Looks more 70s to me. Rock on. :headbang::USETHUMBUP:
