Dating green velvety dress

    Today's theme is green, apparently. lol

    I'm getting better at recognizing 50s-60s stuff but this one stumps me a bit. Haven't seen one yet with a slit in the skirt, and the way the top lifts up. Not sure what this fabric is, but its velvety feeling. It also happens to be the largest size dress I've found yet. No tags or labels. Any idea as to when it comes from? Thank you!

    It looks like a stamped velvet and with that bodice set on a slip lining with attached skirt arrangement, I 'd say early 1960s.
