    I have been passed down this black tulle skirt. As you can see from pic the skirt is machined but the lining and waistband are all set in and hand sewn. Can anyone tell me if it is likely to be Dior and from what era.. I've never seen this type of label before.

    I have more photos. There are also some hooks around the waist band could these be for attaching a bodice?

    How are the seams finished?
    The skirt has a small cross-stitch on the band to indicate center front.
    Dior had Boutique designs which were sold at the Dior stores. They were high-end ready-to-wear with hand finishing. This was before they sold entered the ready-to-wear market. Usually they have a Boutique label and were sometimes numbered.
