I wanted to share the method I have settled upon to display/store my sweater collection.

I wish Ikea made clear acrylic bins to fit the squares. They sell red plastic and all kinds of paperboard but no clear ones.

Alas they do sell a 9" square acrylic light!

It looks great, Linda! It is both attractive *and* practical. The lit lucite box has a great look as well (thank you for the tip about Ikea).

    Fabulous. Love your sweaters.

I have so much problems with moths. I would be concerned about displaying at all.
I garden quite a bit and think they are drawn to it.

    Love the jewelry also.

    Awww! Thank you.

Kallax- Ikea has a whole series of types. This is the largest. I love them all. Smaller units come in colours too. The area inside each " box" is 13 x 13. I first got a unit for my vinyl records. I bought 3 units (4 boxes long x 2 boxes high - you could stand it up so it is tall) in green, yellow and red. Then, when I put them together I mixed up the colours. Edit. I bought the casters for my vinyl units. These casters are heavy duty and fantastic.

My closets are lined with cedar. It is like wood flooring but cedar for closets. That might help with moths?

    Looks great!

I have a similar set up, actually! I have old modern designer cubes that are white and 13" x 13" -- they are stackable in any configuration you want, but I have a block of them, like yours - 2 wide and 3 cubes high. I put fabric drawers in mine -- found the "drawers" at Target that is the right size to fit them in a grey linen-look fabric. I keep my sweaters in there (hidden) instead of on display.

That is why I would love clear acrylic bins. Protected yet on display.

    Edit. Finished. My sweater collection.
