Do you have this in pink?

    Love it when you find antique dresses in different colourways... The black and white "wrought iron fence" dress by Worth that is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has a pink version in the Chicago History Museum!

    I would not believe it unless I had seen it with my own eyes!!

    That is one of THE pinkest antique gowns I have ever seen. Yikes! Almost too much pink for me. I have to say I would not have expected such a vibrant color clash from Worth. The black and white is so perfect as it is. Makes one wonder if the American client was just a nut for pink and they indulged them with this. Love to know the story behind this gown. Do they mention the original owner?

    Jonathan, I love the title for this thread.
